I am an experienced, award-winning Director and Producer who specialises in premium documentaries on challenging and complex subjects.
I most enjoy grappling with multi-layered narratives, often underpinned by journalism, specialist factual or historical detail whilst capturing the compelling human stories at their heart.
I have extensive experience building a strong rapport with a wide range of contributors, from politicians and senior police personnel to survivors of trauma and abuse. Recent subjects include international politics, war crimes, sexual assault, medical and scientific innovation, domestic violence, murder and mental health.
I am an experienced crew director and self-shooter recognised for my sharp cinematographic instinct.
I have directed and produced on a number of award-winning and award-nominated films including the BAFTA and RTS-nominated Catching a Killer strand for Channel 4. Secrets of the Spywhale was shortlisted for Best Science Documentary at The Grierson Awards 2024 and awarded runner up at The Bulldog Awards 2025. BBC Film "I Call Him By His Name" featuring the testimony of widows and mothers from Bucha, Ukraine won Best Documentary at The Foreign Press Association Awards 2022.
I have pitched, developed and directed a number of my own ideas. I'm a fluent French and Italian speaker, with good conversational Spanish and experienced in working on location around the world, from the US, to the South Pacific and Iceland.
I am currently taking a pause from full-time directing to study an LLM in Law, incorporating modules in areas I am passionate about including criminal, family and public law.
